Jr. Mortgage Loan Originator
MortgageDepot is a rapidly expanding mortgage broker, and we are currently seeking a Junior Mortgage Loan Originator to join our growing team in Pennsylvania. This position will work under the guidance of a Senior Mortgage Loan Originator to develop a client base, process loan transactions and assist in closing tasks. Previous experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities
- Connect with potential clients using MortgageDepot’s digital platform and social media resources.
- Educate clients on loan products offered through MortgageDepot, outlining current interest rates, repayment options and other loan terms.
- Assist Senior Mortgage Loan Originator in analyzing clients’ financial records to determine mortgage eligibility.
- Communicate with clients, real estate agents, loan processors, underwriters and lenders to ensure a smooth transaction.
- Maintain knowledge of current interest rates, market trends and program guidelines employed by government agencies and private lenders.
- Participate in in-person and virtual meetings with clients and real estate agents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in financial services, real estate or related fields is desired but not necessary.
- Basic knowledge of the mortgage industry and available loan products.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding customer service to clients.
- Willingness to complete our MLO training program and obtain an NMLS license in Pennsylvania.
- An action-oriented personality with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic workplace.
- Ability to work effectively alone and in a group setting.
- Adept at Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
